Some aspects of filtering bleb formation in patients with primary open-angle glaucoma after non-penetrating deep sclerectomy

PURPOSE . To determine the role of extracellular matrix (ECM), transforming growth factor β (TGF-β) and metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) in mechanisms filtering bleb formation after non-penetrating deep sclerectomy (NPDS) patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG). METHODS The study consisted prospective examination 65 POAG operated by NPDS method. Three groups were formed: group 1 — optimal hypotensive effect (21 patients); 2 relative (23 people); 3 absence patients).
